Bernard Aylward – Executive Chairman and Managing Director BSc (Hons.), MAusIMM
A geologist with over 20 years experience as a manager and exploration geologist in the mining and exploration industry in a variety of commodities. Mr Aylward’s experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer of International Goldfields Ltd, General Manager of Azumah Resources Ltd (Ghana), and Exploration Manager for Croesus Mining NL Mr Aylward has been Involved in the discoveries and management of the Bepkong, Julie, Collette and Kunche deposits in Ghana, as well as the Deep South gold deposit, Gladstone North deposit, St Patrick’s, Norseman Reef, and the Safari Bore gold deposit. Mr Aylward brings considerable relevant skills and experience to the Board. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Edmond Edwards Non-Executive Director BCom, ACA, FAICD
A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in the resources sector, Mr Edwards is currently a Director of Athena Resources and a former director of Aztec Resources Ltd, Fox Resources Ltd, Matlock Mining NL and Scotgold Resources Limited, com­bin­ing knowl­edge of pub­lic com­pany cap­i­tal rais­ings and finance with cor­po­rate com­pli­ance. He has been involved in tak­ing min­eral projects from the con­cep­tual stage to pub­lic list­ing. He was also pre­vi­ously a Direc­tor of Mat­lock Min­ing NL which with Eagle Min­ing suc­cess­fully devel­oped the Nimary Gold Mine and Acclaim Explo­ration NL.

Mr Edwards was a part­ner at Hendry Rae & Court (now Grant Thorn­ton) until 1989 hav­ing joined that firm in 1975. He was the part­ner in charge of the Robe River Iron Ore Project audit for 8 years.

He recently resigned as Man­ag­ing Direc­tor of Resource Min­ing Cor­po­ra­tion Ltd hav­ing suc­cess­fully taken that com­pany to the fea­si­bil­ity stage at its Argyle Iron Ore Project and Wowo Gap Nickel Laterite Project.

Peter Newcomb Executive Director FCA (ICAEW)
A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in the resources sector and other industries in a number of countries. Mr Newcomb is currently serving as Company Secretary of Athena Resources Limited and Scotgold Resources Limited.
